My Support Team

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
― Helen Keller

Chris Lockwood, DC

Dr. Chris Lockwood of AlignChiropractic in Bellingham, WA was one of the first respondents to my cry for help when I started having pain in my Achilles at the beginning of 2013. Dr. Lockwood is a genuinely caring person with a cool disposition who did and continues to do everything he can to help keep me on my feet. He is equipped with varied techniques and services that will allow for the greatest healing, and he customizes treatment for every individual’s situation. For example, my plan of care for Achilles tendonitis included the Graston Technique, physical therapy stretches and adjustments on my neck, back and feet. I see Dr. Lockwood one to two times a week. I recover faster from workouts and have remained injury free since 2013. He works on athletes, children and seniors alike, and has a staff that is as affable and pleasant as he.

Tonia Boze, Mountain Athlete Certified Coach, Terrain Gym

Tonia in action.

Since Tonia's coaching, I have won the 2014 National Trail Half Marathon Championship and have represented the U.S.A. at the 2015 and 2016 World Long Distance Mountain Running Championship in Zermatt Switzerland and Podbrdo, Slovenia, respectively, as well as the 2014 North American Mountain Running Championship in Ajijic, Mexico. I also won the 2015 La Sportiva Mountain Cup, a 10 race series compiled of the best trail races in North America. I attribute my racing success to the strength and durability I have developed at Terrain Gym which has allowed me to stay injury-free and have the ability to train consistently for over 3 years.
